I have been leading global Learning, Development, Culture and Internal Comms teams for the past 25 years. I've worked at Apple, Expedia, L'Oreal, SJP and many Telcos (C&W, 3 & EE) where I have built world class teams who deliver world class content, both classroom and online and truly have an impact on the bottom line.
I am also passionate about helping people with intergenerational leadership. This includes working with seasoned leaders when managing Gen Z, but also working with Gen Z to prepare them to work with a different generation to them.
I have a really strong track record of speaking at events and running impactful workshops on these subjects across many industries. I also love to have some fun along the way and bring an Aussie sense of humour to my work.

I've spoken at numerous conferences, mainly showing people how to either build a Learning & Development function or how to develop technical learning solutions (apps) for a global audience. Nice sexy solutions, not old school text and next e-learning. The key is that I talk about how, not just what to do.
I will be delivering a keynote at World of Learning, NEC Birmingham on 16th Oct 2018.
I will also be delivering at Unleash, Amsterdam on 23rd/24th Oct 2018.
I always consider the learners when creating any learning solutions. How do they consume content these days? One of the obvious answers is via digital learning. Not bad e-learning with text and a next button.
I have created 4 apps in total for Apple, EE, Expedia & L'Oreal. The apps were for both learning & comms and delivered learning videos, daily challenges and daily news updates. One of the apps was delivered in 17 languages and two were for global audiences with visible impact on the bottom line.
I have extensive experience of creating blended curriculums, mainly from scratch. My expertise is in creating new hire inductions, sales training, leadership programmes and soft skills training. I'm able to create face to face, virtual and video. I have a unique approach to sales training, drawing upon my Apple retail experience.
I think it's really important to engage your internal audience as if they were external. I have experience of building an internal brand and creating marketing campaigns to ensure learning is something people want to do, rather than something they are forced to do. Here's an example of how I launched an internal learning app.
A fun way to introduce new courses coming.
The physical environment is so important to people's learning. I have worked with design agencies to create the perfect space for learning. Known as 'The House' we developed a concept for EE that reflects the brand and ensures the environment is homely, welcoming and cool place to learn.
